Rights Respecting Schools Award

As mentioned in our previous newsletters and during our last open afternoon, Charleston school has been working on becoming a Rights Respecting School. After months of hard work, we are now pleased to announce that we have been awarded a Recognition of Commitment Award. This is the first of three possible awards in the UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools Award programme. It highlights the efforts of the pupils and adults within our school community so far in learning about and promoting the rights of the child. We have received our certificate from UNICEF, which will be displayed in school, and we now have permission to use the logo that you see attached alongside our own school badge. We intend to keep you posted on our progress and will add additional information/ content about the RRSA to the Rights Respecting Schools tab on our website. This can be accessed above.
