Primary 5/6 became ‘scientific investigators’ today as the ‘Soil Lab’ visited Charleston School. Mr Allan Patterson helped teach P5/6 (and Mr Leslie and Mrs Komar) all about soil by setting up 9 fun and active practical experiments for us to complete. We had to make predictions, draw conclusions, test materials, measure volumes, study earthworms, compact soil, sort items for recycling and explore acidity. We developed lots of skills today and all pupils should be very proud of their enthusiasm and efforts. More pictures can be found on the Primary 5/6 class page.
